Team Dixon
TEAM Dixon stands for
"Together Everyone Always Matters".
Team Dixon has created an amazing community of special needs children and local youth--mostly teenagers--who routinely step up to be by the side of their special needs friends to lend a supporting hand and a smile so that they can have opportunities to safely participate in sports and other community building activities. What was previously not considered possible or available for many of these special needs children, due to physical or cognitive disabilities, now becomes possible because of this wonderful partnership. Team Dixon also provides a place for their families to get together for and support each other in their journeys. Some of the programs they offer are swimming, a Winter Formal dance, a Halloween and Easter event completely accessible to our special needs friends. In short, Team Dixon is human kindness in action. One look at the photos and it is evident that these relationships fostered are further reaching than just the activity or event, the lives of both the special needs children and their amazing buddies are forever touched.
Team Dixon is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization with no paid administration.
All programs are volunteer-run and funded by donations.
100% of all funds raised goes towards creating activities and events for the special needs children.
